Ashley + Ryan - Boho Wedding / Wild Turkey Ranch
What an incredibly sweet couple Ashley and Ryan are. They are #relationshipgoals in every sense. They spent several years in a long distance relationship while Ashley was in medical school in Connecticut. Once she received her degree and landed a job as an assistant medical examiner back in Tennessee the two were all too delighted to be reunited. We don't think they strayed from each other's side for a moment after saying their "I Dos."
While his love was busy becoming Dr. Ashley, Ryan coordinated with many of the vendors back here in Tennessee. When they contacted us and ask for assistance in handling the details of the day, we were just too excited once we heard their plan to wed at Wild Turkey Ranch.
We love weddings at the 52 acre ranch because it is right at the edge of the Cedars of Lebanon State Park. It's so close to Nashville, yet you feel like you are truly surrounded by nature which is perfect for Ashley, our boho bride.
Their first look was one of the sweetest we've seen. After having been apart for so long, these two did not want to let go for the entire day, so getting to see his bride early was something Ryan had been eagerly awaiting since the early morning hours.
And we really can't blame him, either. In addition to being one of the nicest people you will ever meet, Ashley is also one of the loveliest brides. Don't you agree?
The couple chose to take their sacred vows in the back corral surrounded by those they hold most dear. The Pastor, who was also a close friend of the family, performed the ceremony, while grandparents of both the bride and groom performed readings that held special significance to the couple.
Immediately following the ceremony guests made their way into the barn for refreshments and to find their seats. Their escort cards were the most adorable antique keys collected for them by the Ashley.
However, after the guests were all seated and the guest book signed, the two lovebirds were suddenly no where to be found.
Ryan and Ashley kept sneaking off to steal kisses like a couple of lovesick teenagers. It was actually pretty adorable how much they just wanted to be together.
Finally we convinced them to join their guests and they made their grand entrance into the reception much to the delight of everyone assembled.
Ashley and Ryan actually served pizza at their reception since that was what they dined on on their first date...and the second...and the third....well, you get the picture. In addition to pizza there was cake, and of course, banana pudding! It simply wouldn't be a southern wedding without it!!
And since these Ashley and Ryan are so sweet they also treated their guests to jars of honey from the family farm. They must've wanted everyone to "Bee Smitten," because they sure were!
All through the evening sparks kept flying between these two. So much so that they opted for a sparkler send off. As all their guests cheered them on they disappeared into the night.
