Castle Events & Weddings

Nestled in the hills just outside Nashville, the Castle sits amongst sprawling fields at the edge of a cedar glade. Featuring winding walking trails that lead to incredible vistas of the valley below, The Castle originally was the hideout for Chicago mobster and bookie John P. Welch, serving as his resting spot while traveling between Chicago and Florida. Being an avid gambler, Welch would often throw lavish (and illegal) parties. To this purpose he added hidden passageways that lead to an underground cellar intended to hide his “guests”. For the past, nearly 40 years it has been a hideaway for musicians and entertainers alike as it was, and continues to be, a premier recording studio as well as an event center.

Cannery Ballroom & Mercy Lounge

The historic Cannery Ballroom, originally a flour mill and later a place to grind coffee, presents a truly unique and engaging atmosphere for a variety of special events, including wedding receptions, celebratory parties and private events. The building earned it's iconic name when the Dale Food company bought it in 1957 and began processing jams, jellies, mustard, mayonnaise and peanut butter. Featuring interior brick walls, exposed beam ceilings, polished hardwood flooring, and an impressive view of the Nashville skyline, the Cannery Ballroom is rich with character and charm, making it one of the most distinctive and sought-after event venues Nashville.
