This geometric metallic trend for 2018 had fab written all over it! We are obsessed and we are quite sure you will be too!! If you are looking for a way to add extra details that will make your day sparkle from any angle, metallics are a perfect choice.

One of our favorite ways to accent a wedding is with marble and copper. This modern combo is the “It girl” when it comes to home décor right now, but the chic pairing is absolutely beautiful at weddings too. Create an Instagram post-worthy tablescape by using white marble accents with metallic copper details to add stunning warmth and contrast.

You can also add the glitz with glitter covered invitations and menus or by accenting the bride and bridesmaids with vintage jewelry. We love to have twinkling lights dancing overhead or to feature edible cake decor in silver and gold. The possibilities for stunning metallics are truly endless!

Whether you choose silver, gold or mixed metals, metallic accents are one of the hottest wedding trends of the 2018 its momentum doesn’t seem to be slowing down at all. Metallics add glimmer, shine, glamour and sophistication to your special day. We especially love them because they blend amazingly well with virtually any type of flower or color palette. However to truly make a statement with your décor, pairing them with geometric shapes is the way to go!

We love the idea of balancing sleek geometric shapes with soft flowers and natural elements. Whether you put gold hexagons on your wedding cake or incorporate terrarium-inspired vessels in your centerpieces, geometric shapes are an unexpected and totally cool addition to your décor.

Start off by simply browsing the aisles of an antique or second hand store for some amazing inspiration for unique metallic details and inspiration. Your metallic details can be bold, such as towering vases for flowers or more subtle accents on your tablescape like polished silver goblets that catch the candlelight. We especially love golden candelabras, photo frames and mirrors that provide an opulent, vintage look.

No matter what you choose, by adding a touch of sparkle or metallic, such as silver, bronze, or rose gold it brings more romantic feel to your wedding. Whether you opt for something more subtle such as smaller baubles and decor elements that reflect the light or go all out with shimmering table cloths with jewel encrusted runners, metallic ribbons and natural branches spray-painted in white and silver, metallics can all create the ambience you are hoping for.

Metallics are perfect for all seasons, too. These warm wedding accents can brighten up a winter wedding or add mystery to a fall wedding. A summer wedding wouldn’t be the same without sparkle! Let us know how you plan to incorporate some sparkle and romance to your special day...
